Josie faced seeking reconciliation for her marriage in 2020, but ultimately, it ended in divorce in early 2021. It was the very promise of Psalms 126 that changed the course of Josie’s healing journey and her heart toward other divorced women who did not have the same promised hope. This is where the Lord began cultivating this idea of a ministry to stand in the gaps and become an extension of the local church. After she began to seek the Lord and counsel of others, it was clear that God was leading Josie to begin the Yellow Door.
